Birtle Site Engineers are an independant company of qualified site engineers with over 20 years site experience. Based in North Yorkshire and working all over the UK, we offer a reliable trustworthy site setting out and survey service. Liaising with architects, engineers, site managers and foremen. Speed and accuracy are our paramount objective. We will take care of all your setting out and levelling needs to an unprecedented standard. Birtle Site Engineers are a specialist setting out and site engineering company, not an agency. Our engineers come to site fully kitted out with up to date GPS or Robotic one man total station theodolites, levels, laptops and the appropriate software, auto and civil CAD, to ensure your project is set out as accurately and as fast as possible.
We carry full Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance for your peace of mind.
Birtle Site Engineers perform a technical, organisational and supervisory role on construction projects, including civil, road, rail and other infrastructure projects. We are responsible for marking out the site, applying designs and plans and liaising with sub contractors. Birtle Site Engineers can work as part of the site management team, sharing responsibility for site security, health and safety, and the organisation and supervision of material and human resources. Projects may vary from small scale to multi-million pound ventures.
Mostly Birtle Site Engineers work for contractors, but some consultancies also recruit us as resident site engineers. Clients include central and local government, developers and multinational corporations.
Birtle Site Engineers cover all of northern England, we are qualified to at least HND standard in Civil Engineering and Surveying and we are also CSCS card holders. We are available for long and short term contracts. Our Engineers are also trained as appointed First Aiders(EFAW)
